Deep in the wilds of wow you will find the secretive and lethal society of the Rogue. A group that is labeled the most cunning and devious of them all. I love some of the capabilities Rogue has to offer, they truly are world of Warcraft’s top melee damage dealer. They have a wide range of abilities at their disposal and are especially effective in PvP. Although unlike Hunters for example Rogues must be in close to inflict physical damage.
The major class advantage Rogues have is their stealth, preventing other characters from spotting them unless within close range.
Agility is the primary Rogue attribute. For a top Rogue agility is always comes before strength. Considering that a Rogue does not use mana, it makes intelligence and spirit almost useless. Spirit does help restore health, but you do not want to rely on just normal healing. The other methods of healing make having a lot of spirit unnecessary.
At the later levels most of the Rogues friendly gear will feature a lot of attack power. Some of the gear bonuses coveted by rogues are Hit, Doge, and Crit.
Rogues can only equip themselves with leather or cloth armor, and can only brandish one-handed weapons. A Rogues strength lies in stealth and subterfuge and players who enjoy this type of combat will love this character.
